While this Turkish street dish is traditionally served alongside a yogurt dip, I substitute low fat sour cream simply for the coolness of the flavor.

MEAL PREP TIP: Prepare and marinade the turkey on Sunday. Then simply place the marinaded turkey in the oven when you are ready to cook!


Ingredients:

  • 1 pound turkey tenderloins
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon tumeric
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Low fat sour cream (for dipping)

Instructions:

  1. Slice the turkey tenderloins into medallions.
  2. In a large dish or plastic bag, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, turmeric, and garlic powder. Add the turkey tenderloins and marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
  4. Arrange the turkey tenderloins on the baking sheet. Bake until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165F.
  5. Serve alongside the low fat sour cream for dipping…enjoy!
